This recipe adds a perfect amount of tang and crunch to this classic side dish!
Ingredients
- 2 lbs Fresh Green Beans
- 2 Shallots, thinly sliced
- 6 Garlic Cloves, crushed
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 3/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 2 tsp Grated Lemon Zest
- 1/2 cup Walnuts, chopped and toasted
Instructions
- Step 1
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees
- Step 2
- In a large bowl, combine green beans, shallots, and garlic. Drizzle with oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Step 3
- Transfer to two 15x10x1 inch baking pans coated with cooking spray.
- Step 4
- Roast 15-20 minutes or until tender and lightly browned, stirring occasionally. Remove from oven.
- Step 5
- Stir in 1 tsp lemon zest. Sprinkle with walnuts and remaining lemon zest.
